That's interesting because here in the US, a different letter was read and for our circuit the new Bibles will be available in a few weeks. I missed a little bit of the letter, but it stated something about Japan assisting in production to make these available to the States within the next few weeks. Weird how the UK situation with the AM and new Bible has and is being treated differently than the US. Guess we'll just have to trust the slave.

by raymond frantz infor the ones based in britain only the "few" were invited to attend the agm .they received their new grey bible and the rumor was that the new bible will not be available for the rest of the congragations until january .it was confirmed tonight .a letter was read as local announcement that the new bibles will not be available until the end of january for the rest of the congragation .all the in crowd were sat there with their new flashy bible looking smug.also the bible reading was read from the new bible to make it all the more obvious ..... the real aftermath of agm....

Do you make your own soup?

i have a huge kitchen at my disposal (not my own); vegetables, cans of this and that and spices are scattered about, prepared to go into a cauldron of minestrone i started a few days ago.
i'm preparing ahead so as to freeze the leftovers to heat up later at home over my hotplate.. nothing like a 6-burner gas range to simmer over!.

I enjoy making and eating bean soup with ham hocks. The only problem is once the smoked ham hocks have boiled long enough and are falling off the bone, I want to eat the ham hock before throwing in the navy beans. The beans give me gas too. Hate being at work the next day releasing silent but deadlies. I've recently fallen in love with Crab Bisque. Been meaning to find a recipe for it. Any suggestions?

No, I haven't backed out, I just haven't had a moment to read everything. Have to admit I'm surprised by some of the comments. Some of you have legitimate gripes with the way you were treated by individuals within the organization. Some of you I believe Armageddon didn't come on your stopwatch and so you gave up. It was all about petting a Panda bear for you or having a wildebeest farm. Back to those treated poorly by a few individuals, I was treated poorly by someone on my job, does that mean I should look for other employment as a result?

The thing is Phizzy, there's no need to focus on distrubuting Bibles. There's no shortage of Bibles throughout the earth. There is a shortage on understanding what's in the Bible however. That's where we come in at. Think of how ignorant so called Christians were about passages in the very book that might have been in their house for years! Besides if we ever became aware of someone needing a Bible, we gave them one. Prior to the revised NWT being released, it was no secret there was a shortage of English language Bibles. However, congregations that focused on other languages such as Chinese, or Nepalese, those congregations had tons of Bibles in those languages. Why? Well it wasnt because there was a shortage of paper weights. I imagine the distribution of the NWT in non-Western lands dwarfs that of Western lands.

There's not another organization on this planet that encourages people to read the Bible as does Jehovah's Witnesses. Our literature and study aids are not designed to replace the Bible, but rather to expound upon God's written word. We don't rely upon our own reasoning. Instead, before making any decision, we take into account God's thoughts on matters at hand and we encourage others to do the same. Name another organization that expounds upon the Bible at people's homes free of charge? You cannot, for there are none.

thus the watchtower publishing house is deceiving (lying to) those who read this statement on their building... the watchtower publishing house is already familiar with explanatory subtitles to what they publicize, among others, the subtitles to the watchtower magazine.. the governing body of the watchtower witnesses (whom abuses g-ds holy name), excluded 4 out of the 7 members of the governing body in 1919, with the double vote by their president rutherford, when the watchtower magazines underscore shifted its wording from preaching the kingdom of jesus christ to preaching jehovahs kingdom.

(John 13:35) Pitifully, that same kind of unity and love isn't evident within the ex-JW community. On any given day, this forum has threads that criticize Christians, or attaboy Atheists, badmouth JWs, feel pity for JWs. LOL, for a conglomerate of folks that get off on accusing the WT of flip-flopping, the ex-JW community isnt exactly consistent ya know!
Then there's the multiple movements within the hive. FreeMinds, Six Screens, Cedars' group the AARP, etc.. All with different agendas and motives. Nobody within their right mind would expect any success unless limited, and I mean very limited if not crippled success by the ex-JW community. It's like Jehovah has confused your languages, or removed the wheels from your chariots.
To be fair, maybe it's me. Maybe I've been a JW so long that I cant imagine being part of any movement without unity and love amongst ourselves. How do you folks do it?

There's nothing wrong with the color. If you like the Raiders uniforms which I'm sure you all do as their uniforms are universally loved, then you should love the silver color of this Bible. Don't cut your nose to spite your face ex-JWs.
